Know Your Neighbors

Jenny: My neighbor is the sweetest elderly woman.

Tom: My neighbors are a group of college students.

Kandi: My neighbors are a young married couple.

Jenny: We like to look out for each other, since we both live alone.

Tom: Sometimes their music is a little loud, but I just ask them to turn it down and they always do.

Kandi: I don’t really know them that well.

Jenny: My neighbor and I know that if something happens to our homes, we can go to each other’s. If something happens to entire neighborhood, I have her number and will meet up with her and take it from there.

Tom: During a thunderstorm, we both lost all our power. Thankfully they had spare flashlights they let me have and a portable phone charger I borrowed. They were surprisingly prepared!

Kandi: If something happened? Hmm, I don’t know. It would be awkward to ask them for help… I don’t even know their names.

Jenny: I’m thankful I know my neighbor.

Tom: I’m glad I know my neighbors

Kandi: Maybe I should know my neighbor.
