The National Weather Service in Austin & San Antonio has issued a Red Flag Warning for strong winds and very low humidity, which is in effect from Tuesday morning through Tuesday evening for all of South Central Texas.

Any wildfires that start could rapidly increase in size and intensity, and move quickly.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
